Greetings Friends!
Through my work with Lone Star Literary Life, I became familiar with a new book subscription box based in the great state of Texas that would feature Indie or small press published books. I reached out to the owner for a spotlight feature/review on this blog and she graciously donated a box! I want to thank her so much for her patience as this post seemed like it would never come about!
As some of you are aware, I recently made the transition to become a real estate agent in Texas. When I accepted the box, I had just completed my licensing exam, so I wasn’t expecting to locate a firm quite as quickly as what ultimately ended up happening. Within a day of passing the exam, I was hired by the company I work at now and began a multi-week onboarding and coaching program. Two of my kids were still in school at the time as well, and I am currently still working as the treasurer for the elementary PTA. My husband, who works as a loan officer, and I also began hosting weekly first time home buyer education webinars, which then allowed me receive my first client. And if you’ve been paying attention to the housing market recently, this is quite the interesting time to enter the real estate world! So needless to say, it has been an incredibly BUSY and overwhelming month!
Again, I can’t express to Aimee how grateful I am for the opportunity to receive this box and her immeasurable patience with me as I navigated the choppy waters of starting my own business as well!
So without further ado, today, I’m finally featuring an unboxing of the June 2021 Book Lovers Delight subscription box!
Book Lovers Delight is a monthly subscription box where you will receive a new and entertaining book that is either Indie or small press published, along with some extra little goodies including limited edition swag from the author. As Daphne’s mother dies, the woman reveals a very different past than what Daphne believed. Horror and suspense author Meg Hafdahl is the creator of numerous stories and books. She is also the author of two popular short story collections including Twisted Reveries: Thirteen Tales of the Macabre (INKLINGS) Meg is also the author of the two novels; Daughters of Darkness (INKLINGS) and Her Dark Inheritance (INKLINGS) called “an intricate tale of betrayal, murder, and small town intrigue” by Horror Addicts and “every bit as page turning as any King novel” by RW Magazine. Meg, also the co-creator of Horror Rewind, lives in the snowy bluffs of Minnesota.
