It was a beautiful sunny morning in (child’s hometown).  (Child’s name) woke up with a big smile on (his/her) face because (he/she) had such a wonderful dream.  (Child’s name) had a dream about playing (his/her) (favorite game) with (friends/relative).

As (child’s name) got ready to begin their day, (he/she) thought, hmm…I wonder where dreams come from?  (He/She) tried to think of the answer, long and hard, but could not think of where dreams came from.  Then (child’s name) got excited – (he/she) was sure (parents or loved one) would know the answer.  (Child’s name) couldn’t wait to see (parents or loved one) so (he/she) could ask.

Review:

I received a personalized copy of this book for free in exchange for an honest and thoughtful review.

This book is specially tailored with specific information about your child and I requested that the book be personalized for Maddox, our voracious little reader.  No surprise to me that it was a huge hit!  He absolutely loved seeing his name in the book as well as hearing it throughout as the story was read.  He has received one other personalized book before, but it wasn’t nearly as special to him as this one.  Your child becomes the star of this charming story and because they are incorporated into it in such an engaging way they can feel as though they really have wanted to know where dreams come from all along.  The vibrant illustrations truly capture your attention and draws little ones into the story.  Even Jackson who usually just wanders around the room while we read stories before bed stopped by my lap to take a look and listen.  This was a great bedtime story that settled them down with the promise of pleasant dreams.

The quality of the book’s construction is amazing, especially given that it will more than likely become a huge hit with your child and receive lots of handling.  This hardcover is extremely sturdy with thick pages that are well bound – it’s going to take a lot for this book to fall apart, so you don’t have to worry too much if you have toddlers and/or infants around.  Each illustration is a double page spread with the text nicely placed so as not to distract from the beautiful images.

This was an imaginative story that has been a fantastic edition to our library, but more importantly, it will become a treasured keepsake.  I definitely recommend this book and can imagine that the other titles available are just as well designed and written, so be sure to check out their website to find the perfect match for your little reader!
